Ski Trip to Vassdalsbu

This family-friendly groomed ski trail in easy terrain takes you to the Vassdalsbu cabin, the meeting place for skiers in Vanylven. There is a spacious gapahuk shelter with a place for a fire about halfway through the route. In normal snow conditions, there are also groomed trails to Rota/Slivatnet and sometimes several side tracks. All junctions are well marked.

Ski report Øverberg Skisenter (https://syvdeil.no/p/12503/info-overberg-skisenter), which is managed by the Syvde Sports Association (Syvde IL), is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ski trails in the area. In good snow conditions, the ski route from Øverberg to Vassdalsbu is part of a much larger network of ski trails. All junctions on this route are signposted. Turn off the main road from Syvde in the direction of Saurdalen. Drive to the end of the Saurdalen Valley and park your car in Øverberg. There is a parking fee that you can pay with Vipps.
