This trail will take you to Hornseten. It starts from Tussabygget (the Tussa building) above the Bergslia residential area. Follow the hiking trail up the valley until it splits. Turn right at the sign for Hornseten. The first section of about 50 metres is a little steep. Then the road goes straight up to Hornseten. From the top of the hill, you will get a great view of Fosnavåg, the surrounding islands, and the mountains of Sunnmøre. There are several picnic tables and cairns at the top. On your way back down, you can first follow the ridge east and then start walking down the mountainside. Follow the path. Turn west towards Heid at the first plateau and walk over the area above the trenches. You will then return to the hiking trail you followed on your way up. Turn down to the left and follow the hiking trail to Tussabygget. The length of the trail is about 2.6 km, and the ascent is from 50 to 200 m. Gentle terrain. Some sections can be a little wet.
You can also walk west towards Tverrfjellet. Please see a separate trail description.
