Svedehornet

Svedehornet is an easily accessible peak with a scenic view of the ocean, Sandsøya, Riste, Voksa, and Kvamsøya. You will also see the Syvdsfjord and the mountains of Vanylven. The Larsnes Sports Association (Larsnes IL) has a trail post on the peak.

The trail starts from the car park at the highest point of Drageskaret. Follow the Langhamrane mountain ridge until you reach Kvilesteinen. Once you have passed Kvilesteinen and reached the edge of the mountain, the path splits in two. Turn right and follow the path southeast along the mountain ridge until you reach the foot of Svedehornet. Turn right and climb up the final 80-metre-long steep slope until you reach the top.

Park your car along County Road 61 (FV61), at the highest point of Drageskaret, between Gursken and Larsnes.
