The trail at a glance

If the skiing conditions are average or poor elsewhere, Osmraka will often be a good alternative. The snow remains here for a long time, and a well-maintained ski trail runs to the Sødlasmyra area through a beautiful landscape.

Route description

Follow the illuminated ski trail from the ski stadium for about 1.3 km until you reach an open area where you need to keep slightly to the right of the illuminated ski trail. Follow the prepared piste that runs around the open and almost flat area for about half a kilometre. It then swings over the river and runs across a timber stacking area before continuing further through a forest plantation where it gradually climbs uphill. Turn right when you come out of the forest plantation. You will reach a new forest area just after that, but this one is more open. The piste crosses the river again about 3.5 km after the ski stadium. Continue following the ski piste until you come to an intersection where you need to go up the hillside on your left. This is where the most challenging part of the trail starts, but you will reach the Stikk Ut trail postbox just after you are done with the slopes. You can follow the same route back or continue following the piste further ahead. If you do that, the total length of the trail will be about 11 km. We use http://www:loyper.net to show you when and where new groomed ski trails are available.
