Skorgedalsbu

This trail takes you from the car park in Skorgedalen up to Kjerringhaugen Hill with the Skorgebu cabin maintained by the Norwegian Tourist Association. The cabin is beautifully located facing the Ljøsådalen valley and offering a view of the Romsdalen valley.

Follow the tractor road towards Selsetra from the car park in Skorgedalen (toll road). Turn off to the left onto a marked path after about 100 m. Follow this marked path as it takes you across the marshes and swings to the right around Kjerringhaugen Hill. Walk up to the left on the backside of Kjerrringhaugen until you reach the top of the hill where you will see the cabin. There are several paths that lead from Kjerringhaugen further to Gjerdsetsetra or the top of Mount Skarven.
