The trail to Røsta has a medium level of difficulty and a gentle ascent The forest road ends after you pass Nysetra, and the final 1.2 km long section of the trail runs through a beautiful pine forest with magnificent mountains all around you.
Start skiing along the illuminated ski trail west of the Måndalshallen sports hall. After about 150 metres, the trail continues along a slightly ascending forest road that begins after a boom gate. You will reach Nysetra after about 3 km. Follow the Stikk Ut Ski signs further in the direction of Lake Middagsvatnet. After about 1 km in beautiful natural surroundings with some short steep sections, you will reach a summer mountain farm called Røsta.
Turn off E136 at the junction by Voll Church in the Måndalen Valley, at the sign for Venås. Turn left off the main road after about 1.5 km. You will see a sign that reads “Stadion”. Follow the road through the residential area until you reach the sports venue. Park your car by the Måndalshallen sports hall.
