Vanylven

The trail at a glance

This family hike does not involve long ascents, and the destination point is only 157 altitude metres higher than the start. The starting point is signposted, and the trail is well marked with blue sticks and blue paint on stones or similar objects. Already after 200 metres, you will get a beautiful view over the Syltedalen Valley and Sylte and further north toward Fiskå. You will be able to enjoy the great view almost the entire time as the trail runs along the mountain ridges between the small tops. This is one of the three routes to Ørnetua. One of the other two routes has the starting point in Syltedalen, and the third route starts in Gusdalen, Åheim close to Sibelco’s Nordic olivine quarry.
