This is a nice trail which can be used both for walking and cycling. There are several places with small benches placed along the trail, as well as the rest area with benches and tables. Mountain summer farming has historically taken place in the Nekstaddalen valley, and there are reportedly several farm buildings on the way inwards.
Route description
Starting from the car park by the shop, walk for about 200 metres to the left and take the left turn onto a gravel road. There is also a sign for Mount Meekknoken at the spot where you will be turning off the way. Follow this road all the way up to the trail postbox. The entire trail follows a gravel road / forest road.
The destination of this trail – Nekstadsetra farm – is located at the end of the trail. The trail postbox is hanging on the side of the “gapahuk” mountain shelter.
Arrival and parking
The trail starts either from Coop Marked in Bådalen or from a small car park at the end of the gravel road.
You can park in front of Coop Bådalen free of charge.
