Ljøsådalen, Skorgedalen

This scenic trail takes you through the Ljøsådalen Valley with the start at the Skorgedalen Valley. You will find the Stikk Ut Ski postbox along the ski trail not far from Nordvikstøylen.

The trail starts at the car park in Skorgedalen (toll road). Cross the bridge to the surface lift and turn left up the hillside past the beginning of the surface lift. The trail gradually climbs uphill at first before it flattens out over the marshy areas. Follow the ski trail further along the southern side of the Ljøsådalen Valley. You will pass several cabins that are located below the ski trail. Nordvikstøylen lies furthest in the valley. The Stikk Ut trail postbox can be found to the left of the place where the ski trail runs close to the river. PS. You are not supposed to cross the river and go up to the cabins.  At this point, you can either choose to turn around and go back or continue further into the valley to Ingridsetra. From here, there will be slightly steeper slopes to climb again.

Drive along FV64 and turn off that road at the sign for Skorgedalen between Isfjorden and Åfarnes. Park your car at the uppermost point of the car park in Skorgedalen (toll road, bank card payment).
