Park your car in Øvre Kavli. Follow the road uphill past the boom gate and keep to the left until you come up to the marshy area called Stormyra. Continue along the road to the right of Stormyra (there are normally prepared tracks here) and go over the bridge to cross the river. Ascend a small hill and after you pass the bridge, turn to the intersection of paths near Bruhaugen. Turn right and follow the road uphill toward the Kavlisetra mountain farm. You will follow a long gradually ascending hill along the road and then a final gradual ascent up to the farm. This trail can also be done by starting at the shooting range. From there, you can ski over Stormyra at the start. There are normally groomed ski trails on both routes. Follow the same way back. Source:
