The trail to Haukåssetra is perfect for skiing. Once you have climbed the first hill, it is easy to follow the remaining section of the trail up to Haukåssetra. The length of the trail is just under 1 km. There is also an illuminated ski trail here.
The trail climbs quite steeply up for the first 100 metres after the car park. You will then reach a network of trails with an illuminated ski trail. Once you come to the first intersection of trails, you will see a sign for Haukåssetra pointing straight ahead. It is also possible to turn left and do a loop trail that will also take you to Haukåssetra. There might not be groomed tracks along the entire loop since some sections of the road may be cleared of snow by a snowplough, but the trail that runs from the car park straight to Haukåsstra is always groomed when there is enough snow.

Follow the sign for the Stikk Ut/Stikk Ut Ski car park that lies at the top of the Hauglia residential area in Elnesvågen. It is signposted from the exit road by the Rema 1000 shop and up through Hauglia.
