Grigås Nature Trail

This nature trail is accompanied by information boards along the way where you can learn about the local wildlife, vegetation and nature. You will find a trail postbox about half way through the nature trail. The trail involves slightly steep climbing up and down. The largest part of the trail goes through coniferous forest.

Start walking from the Stordal school building. Cross the road over the pedestrian crossing and go left. At the mailbox stand, turn right and follow the road towards the Vinjehjellane housing estate for about 1 km until you reach the signed and marked Grigås Nature Trail. Walk through the fence, keep to the right and walk right up the steep hill until you reach the uppermost house in the housing estate. You will walk along a good path further to the right and into the forest. You can follow the path through the forest and down to the farms of Midtbust and return to the Stordal school building. Alternatively, once you are halfway through the trail, you can walk further towards Midtbustsætra, Turrnausa or another destination. 

You can park your car next to the Stordal school building.
