Enjoy a fantastic view over the northern part of Averøy, as well as Kristiansund and Frei.

The trail starts from the main road. Go up the steep gravel road until you see a black cabin. Go past the cabin. Then go up to the left onto a cart track. It will be clear which way to go at this point. Continue up the cart track for about 150 metres until you come to an open area within the forest. Turn right and walk up another cart track. Follow this rocky cart track as it climbs up for about 200 metres and take the turn to the right. There will only be one right turn there. At that point you will have come across a path which is normally dry, with occasional wet sections. The path runs through the forest and opens up a bit after you have passed the high-voltage transmission line. Then you will come across a small marsh which you will easily find your way through. After the marsh the trail starts climbing up to the top a bit steeper. Here you can enjoy a nice view southward over the Kvernes Fjord. At this point you are quite near the top. When you finally reach the top, you can enjoy a great view of the ocean and the entire north side of the island of Averøy. You can also see Kristiansund and Frei municipalities from here. You will find a steel cairn with a trail journal at the top. Follow the same way down.

Turn off the country road in Bruhagen and drive along County Road 247 (Fv 247) for about 3.5 km south. The car park is located at about 100 m a.s.l. on the east side of the road between Engvik and Kjørsvika. Position: 63,034478 N and 7,669680 E
