Emmershaugen/Riksfjordremma

This nice and easy trail to Emmershaugen is suitable for everyone. From Falkhytten you can push a baby carriage or a wheelchair to Emmershaugen. Several benches are located on the trail, so that you could take a rest along the way. 300 metres away from the new Riksfjord school there is a stone with some names carved on it.

There is a ferry connection with Hollingsholmen (route 31). Follow the main road as it heads towards the municipality centre. You can start the trail from the car park by Coop Prix in Falkhytten (the length is 1.4 km one way). You can also park your car at Riksfjord by the Betania chapel and start the trail from there (the length is 1.1 km one way). If your starting point is Falkhytten, begin walking from Coop Prix and continue past the fire station to the new Riksfjord school. Follow the path as it heads west from the backside of the school area. Emmershaugen is located at the trail junction. From that point you can walk towards Riksfjord, Horrem of back to Falkhytten.

You can walk from Falkhytten to Emmershaugen and back, as well as follow the walkway from Riksfjord to Falkhytten (looped trail).
