This trail takes from the viewing point near the Troll Wall (Trollveggen) up to an ancient burial site in Horgheim, and then down along the Rauma river where you will pass many waterfalls and nice fishing spots. At the end of the trail, you will walk past Trollveggen Camping.
Turn off from E136 at the Trollveggen Visitor Centre under Trollveggen and leave your car at the car park. The path starts from the yellow building of the railway station and follows the roadside south to the railway underground walkway. Continue walking down to the Rauma river. Here you will pass an area that has many burial mounds and remains of the settlements from the Migration Period. You are walking through a historical area that has been used by people for several thousand years. Follow the path further along the river all the way down to Trollveggen Camping. You will get to see many beautiful stretches of the river and stream pools that thousands of cars pass by every day, but only a few know about. Salmon fishing with trap nets used to take place here earlier. The area was also a popular fishing spot along the Rauma river in its time of glory. During high water, the section of path that goes past Malihølen is inaccessible. It might be easier to reach Eiafossen Waterfall from Trollveggen Camping. When you come down to Trollveggen Camping, take a stroll around the area. Please keep in mind that the service building is for camping guests only, but you are allowed to use the toilet in the shop. Walk along the old road and then E136 up to the picnic area. Source:
