This is a nice walk along a forest road. Stroller-friendly, so you can take a baby carriage with you if you want.
Route description
Turn off the road that goes to Røssvatnet lake to the right near the gravel pit and follow that way for about 1,5 km until you reach the trail checkpoint (postbox). This is a nice trail equally suitable for both the elderly and children. At the trail checkpoint you will also find some tables.
Access and parking
You can park your car right after the cattle grid on the way to Røssvatnet lake.
If you would like to take a longer walk, you can park your car by the youth centre in Leira. In that case the walk will be 4 km long.
