The Hill Before Jolbotn

This scenic ski trail runs towards Jolbotn with magnificent mountains all around you!

The trail starts at the car park in Overøye or Langsætrane (Puskenbru). The distance to the trail destination, which is a Stikk Ut Ski postbox in 2019, is about 2.5 km from Overøye and 1.5 km from Langsætrane. This ski trail is a very good fit for families with children. It is an easy ski trip over flat terrain. You will find the Stikk Ut Ski postbox on a fence pole in the area between the cultivated land and the terrain. From the trail postbox, the ski trail continues for about 4–5 km further into Jolbotn. The ski trip to “The Hill Before Jolbotn” continues from Pusken over the Dyrdalselva River and further along the road past a barn. The distance to the trail destination from there is 300–400 m.

Drive from the centre of Stordal for about 6 km in the direction of Valldal/Stranda. Turn off the main road at the sign for the alpine ski resort. Drive up the road for about 8 km until you reach the alpine ski resort in Overøye. There is a large car park there. The cross-country trail begins at the lower side of the car park.
